SMS verification
Two-step authentication with SMS verification
SmartDialog’s messaging services include SMS verification, which enables you to implement reliable user authentication in network services and applications. SMS verification uses SMS messages sent from API.
Two-factor authentication (2FA, MFA) uses at least two different methods to identify a user. Usually, the first method of identification is a username and password, and in addition to these, in MFA authentication, the user must also verify the identity using another method of identification.
SmartDialog’s SMS verification is a service that enables two-factor authentication, in which a one-time identification code (OTP password) is sent to the user via text message in connection with login or other identification. The user enters the code on the form of the web service or application and is able to log in to the service. An interface that checks the code can also be connected to SMS verification, if identification verification is not possible in the web service.

SMS verification is a text message verification used in two-step authentication, which allows you to send one-time identification codes and verify their validity.

Send Code
Send Code API: Sending an authentication code when logging in to the system
Text message verification is used in two-factor authentication when logging in to an online store or other online service. In addition to primary authentication, the user logging in to the service is directed to request an identifier on their phone.
Send Code API automatically generates a unique one-time identifier required for two-factor authentication and sends it to the requested phone number. The user can log in to the service by entering the identifier.

Verify Code
Verify Code API: Sending an identification code and checking the correctness of the code
Text message verification is used in two-step authentication when logging into an online store or other online service. In addition to primary authentication, the user logging into the service is directed to request an identifier on their phone.
The Verify Code API generates a unique, one-time identifier and sends it to the requested phone number. The user enters the identifier into the service and the Verify Code service checks whether the provided code is correct, allowing the user to log in.
